During my internship I had the opportunity to work on the new fashion column in the Warrington Guardian's new weekend pullout section. This was my favourite part of the internship.
I fully styled the above florals shoot after collecting all the clothes which the retailers from the Golden Square let me lend for the day.
The above column is my favourite of the four which I have worked on for the paper. The concept was mine, Laura really loved it and so she let me run with it. I sourced all the images from the press sites and researched the trend from the catwalk to the high street. I wrote the column and Laura slightly re-worded it in parts before it went to print.
The above column was the first that I worked on. Unfortunately the shoot had been done the week previous to me starting my internship. Laura asked me to research the monochrome trend and write 200 words. She used my words as the basis to the column.
I sourced all the images above for the column from the press sites. Words by Laura Jones.
There are 4 more articles yet to be in the paper which I worked on at deWinter including the following trends, festival fashion, metallics, orientals and a tailoring shoot which I also styled.
I am really pleased and proud of this work and have been asked by the photographer to continue styling some of the shoots for the paper in the future. This is very exciting.
